Blogging At The Intersection Of Preparation And Opportunity

Milton Berle said that, "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door." Learning, seeking, taking calculated risks, these are all about creating opportunity and getting yourself prepared. I am sure you have probably heard they saying, "I would rather be lucky than good." I wholeheartedly disagree. The difference between a lucky person and an unlucky one almost always comes down to preparation and attitude.

I frequently hear people that aren’t successful saying about those that are, "they are just lucky." Successful people aren’t just "lucky." They were prepared and in the right mindset when opportunity presented itself. A big part of this is associating with and befriending successful people you can learn how to be prepared when your opportunity comes.

I have seen people with tons of potential and countless opportunities waste it all because of poor decisions in picking their relationships. I have watched as person very close to me destroyed our relationship for a fleeting moment of fun with new friends. I have seen the hurt in her eyes, heard the regret in her voice, as she wished that time could be reversed and different roads traveled. Unfortunately the past cannot be undone, but mistakes in it can be learned from.

Trust me I know how easy to get caught up into a highly social unproductive lifestyle. It feeds on itself until you don't even realize how non-productive you really are. I would encourage you to examine your relationships and choices and ask yourself if they are beneficial and constructive. Honestly ask, Do they make you a better person? If not end it. I know that sounds harsh but in the end it will do you good.

Find people that encourage you, make you better, and inspire you to be better - to be great. Seek out people of like mind, with similar ideals and goals. Develop relationships with people of high moral character that have lofty goals. Find risk-takers, not reckless individuals, as you will find that taking more calculated risks, and through focused action "luck," that intersection of preparation and opportunity, will find you.

Free Ways To Market Your Online Business Offline

I just wanted to share a few free or low cost ideas on ways to market your online ventures offline. Many bloggers overlook the benefits of promoting offline as well. If you can implement some offline marketing strategies with little or no money that is even better. If you are trying to make money online you certainly don't want to be spending large sums of money offline it just isn't practical for the return you get.

Free Offline Marketing Method #1

Do a Google search for customized ink pens, customized promotional items, or something along those lines. You will obviously get a ton of results. Just start clicking on some of the results focusing on sites that offer free samples, or that have a print catalog. In my experience you have the best luck with those. Remember you want free! Okay now that you have found a few go ahead and register with the site. You want them to send you their catalog in the mail. The reason why is that every month or so they also send free samples of featured items from pens to calendars. The cool thing about most of them is that the samples sent are imprinted with your business details. Voila free marketing materials. If you do this for several you can build up quite a nice collection of pens and such. Now granted I have actually ordered a few small lots of customized pens to market various business, but I receive anywhere from 5-10 customized promotional items a month. Passing these along to folks is a great way to garner new visitors to your site and to spark conversation about what you are doing.

Free Offline Marketing Method #2

You may have heard of VistaPrint and their free business card offers, but did you know VistaPrint offers a wide array of printing services including, business cards, checks, rubber stamps, announcements, return address labels, and car magnets! You can customize all of their products to your liking! Getting some of their basic business cards made up for your blog is a great offline marketing tool. You can pass them out to friends and family or to people you meet. See the last one on the list? It is that time of year and if you or a child are graduating getting some free announcements is a great deal. If you are interested in the free stuff here are some things VistaPrint does offer for free.

Free Business Cards
Free Rubber Stamps
Free Sticky Notes
Free Checks
Free Logo Design

In addition to the free stuff VistaPrint offers a wide array of printing services including: business cards, checks, rubber stamps, announcements, and car magnets! You can customize all of their products to your liking! Their premium printing services are very affordable and the service is great. If you have only ever done the free stuff and haven't tried out any of VistaPrint's premium services you really should check them out and you won't be disappointed.

There you go....two ways to get some great offline marketing materials for your blog. The best thing is they are free and customized marketing and promotional items.

Which Is Better Clean Desk Or Cluttered Desk

There has been an ongoing debate on whether or not a clean desk leads to higher productivity. There are those that say an ordered desk is less distracting and that leads to higher productivity. Some studies suggest that requiring some people to clean their desk actually causes a drop in productivity.

In a book titled "A Perfect Mess" co-author David Freedman writes that,

Mess is good for a lot of reasons. First of all, you save a lot of time. Another reason is there is efficiency in mess," he said. "People who are really messy know where there stuff is. Because it reflects the way they work and think and in addition it's expressive.
What a great idea, allowing people a bit of freedom to express themselves and the way they work and think. Some people come by a neat desk naturally, some don't. Some like order and neatness and that is how they work and think. Others think in a more disordered way and their "space" reflects that. It isn't to say that one is necessarily better than the other.

The authors of "A Perfect Mess" found that employees that have messy desks are 36%more efficient. Another funny thing is that they conducted a survey that shows the bigger the salary, the bigger the mess. You have heard that you should always dress for the job you want not the job you have, well you should keep you desk for the job you want and not the job you have. The messier your desk the more your boss will know you want that promotion. Okay we all can see the fault in that but it still is an interesting tidbit.

I have seen a co-worker with a messy desk covered in papers with his cell, blackberry, ipod, laptop, and other devices plugged in charger wires running all over. He has his coffee cup, a water bottle, and an old McDonald's cup sitting on his desk. He always knows where things are at. Then there is the guy with an neat desk. He has one of those new charger station things to organize his cell, ipod, and blackberry, and there isn't a cup or bottle to be found. Yet he can't seem to find anything to save his life. Which is better?

Overall I think that a clean and neat workspace is better for all. I don't think it should come at the expense of individuality. People do need some freedom to express themselves. What does your desk look like? Is it messy or neat? Is your mess organized or do you spend a lot of time searching for things? I will leave you with a quote from Albert Einstein,

If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk?
Albert Einstein

Did I Reach My $1500 January Goal?

Now that the month of January is over I had a bit of time to total up the numbers. I know I was anxious to see if I had reached my goal. I know many of you were probably wondering the same thing.

Oh yeah, In case you missed it I set a goal for this blog to earn $1500 in January. When I set this goal it was on January 15th and I had earned a total of $606.33 so far for the month. I was very determined to meet the goal and I tried to keep everyone updated as to my progress. Now it is time to see the final numbers.

Here are the final earnings numbers for the January.

Affiliate Sales: $937.18
Paid Posting: $430.34
Contextual Ads: $73.88
Ad/Link Sales: $10.00
Misc: $11.37

Total MTD: $1462.77

A new earnings record for the blog!!! While not quite to my $1500 goal it is an average of roughly $47.19 per day for the month. I have to admit I am a little disappointed. I know I was very close, but close is still not good enough for me. Stay tuned for what is coming February. I will be busy the rest of the weekend but come Monday I will be posting my February goal as well as details on the February contest.

I will be giving away a FREE Domain w/ One Year of Hosting!

What To Do With A Sub-Par Article

Have you ever written an article and when you were finished you just were not happy with how it ended up? What do you do with it?

My article writing might be a bit different than yours so let me explain how I write my articles. I usually write most of my main articles in one sitting. Throughout the week as I come up with topics to write about I will clip articles and pages and save them into a draft for the article. When I finally sit down to write out my articles I will usually have 4-5 drafts and a lot of different articles, pictures and pages clipped. I will then build off of that and flesh out the article.

Many times when I am done I will go back over each article and read it checking for spelling and grammar. The next day I will read them all again to hopefully find things I missed on the first go around. After this second proof reading I will then schedule the articles for the week. Almost without fail there will be at least one or two articles that I just am not happy with and won't schedule for publication and will just leave as a draft.

The next week I will pick those "left-over" articles back up to see If I have any fresh ideas. Usually what I end up doing is scavenging these articles for newer ones and then they eventually get deleted. So for me most of my articles good or bad eventually get used one way or the other. I either rework them to the point of being published or pull bits and pieces for other articles and then delete what is left if anything.

What do you do with articles that just don't cut it? Do you write articles you never publish? What do you do with those? Do you take the time to try and change them up and then publish or do you salvage them for parts?

Last Day To Reach $1500 January Goal

In case you missed it I have set a goal for this blog to earn $1500 in January. When I set this goal it was on January 15th and I had earned a total of $606.33 so far for the month. I am determined to meet this goal and I wanted to keep everyone updated as to my progress. With just a little under 9 hours left in the month I feel that I am getting close.

In my last $1500 Goal Update on January 24 I had a Total MTD: $1015.27. Here is the breakdown through that day.

Affiliate Sales: $647.26
Paid Posting: $303.07
Contextual Ads: $48.81
Ad/Link Sales: $10.00
Misc: $6.13

From that day I needed to average just a touch over $60 per day to reach my goal. I haven't ran down all the numbers yet today and won't have the compete totals to report until tomorrow but I feel that I am close. I know my affiliate sales have continued to increase, while my paid posting has tapered off a bit. I was getting tired of typing :) and I figured you might be tiring as well. I have no idea as to the contextual ads until I add them up tomorrow. I haven't had anymore ad or link sales so that number has stayed steady. I will be doing, already have actually, a few paid posts this afternoon and this evening to do everything I can to hit my goal. I hope this quest has been as inspiring to you as it has been fun to me. You can make money blogging, and you can make money with FREE blogs. You can make money without being one of the "big boys." Stay tuned for the final numbers coming tomorrow.

Beat Blog Fatigue In 5 Easy Steps

How many times have you been busy with your job, spouse, kids, home duties, hobbies, community obligations or whatever else occupies your daily waking hours and just didn't feel like blogging. Well here are 5 quick tips to help you overcome that blog fatigue.

  1. Post a link list article. Have you read some good articles recently? Put together a list of the best of what you have been reading. This style of post is quick and easy to put together and is also a great way to build relationships with other bloggers. Contact the authors of the articles you are linking to and let them know they have been featured. You never know you just might get some return "linkage."

  2. Read and Cross-link old posts. This is something you should do periodically anyway, but it is also great to do when you are running out of ideas. I have found that through this process I always get new ideas for articles. Take the time to put some links to some of your newer content in older related content. This will also help in finding some other related articles and chances for linking to the older posts.

  3. Recycle an old post. Now if you have read over your old posts and done some cross-linking and still haven't found some new inspiration, then this is a great idea. The key is to pull from posts about 3 months old, and don't just leave it the same way. Re-work it a bit. Add a new picture element, change the title, add some links, update with some recent experiences, but don't just leave it the same.

  4. Give Your Blog a mini makeover. You don't need to change your template or anything drastic. Little tweaks can make a big difference. Change some colors around, add a new widget or plugin. Things like this can help break through the blog boredom. If you feel your blog is looking better it helps motivate you to produce.

  5. Write a review. I know for me that sometimes even when I'm not inspired to write something I can still review a money making program, affiliate program, or another blog. Pick a smaller blog, someone who has commented on your blog, or added you to their technorati faves, someone that is connected to your blog in some way and has their own blog. I'm sure they wouldn't mind a free review. Of course you will need to probably make it at least neutral :) to positive. Don't blast another blog that isn't nice! If you don't have another blog to review write one about an affiliate program you are involved in, or a money making opportunity you have been successful at. Reviews are simply your thoughts and feelings on and impressions of something and so are fairly easy to do even during times of blog fatigue.

There you go! Now go break of your slump and get back into your blogging groove. Do one of these suggestions each day for 5 days and I am sure it will help. This article is the third installment in My "5 Easy Steps" series. Read the other great articles Feed Failure in 5 Easy Steps and Feed Success in 5 Easy Steps.

Blogging Without Power

Monday night around 11:45ish I was sitting watching some TV, blogging, & chatting with friends when suddenly the whole house went black. I had no power. This lasted for about an hour and then everything returned to normal. I was using my laptop but I had my battery removed so when the power shut off so did the computer. I didn't feel like digging around in the office in the dark to find the battery. It could be so many places depending on the mood I was in when I removed it last. Anyway, this little scenario got me thinking about blogging without power.

I would define power as having control of, authority, or influence over others. How does one define the power of a blog? There are various rankings from Technorati, Alexa, Google, and others as well. What do they mean though? What do they represent and do they give a good indication of the power of a blog? Does a blog that had a PR6 in October last year that now has a PR4 have less power? What about if that same blog now has 1000 more RSS subscribers than it did in October? What if the blog's revenue has increase by 30% in the same span? Does the blog have more power due to the increases in subscriptions and revenue? Does it have less now that its PR is lower?

Lets look again at the definition I put forth for power, "having control of, authority, or influence over others." Would you say the Google PR drop or the increases would have a greater impact on power based on my basic definition? I think the answer to this question seems straight forward, but break down the definition into its parts and have a closer look.

Having control of. Does the blog have control of PR? How about subscriptions and revenue. Google holds the power when it comes to PR and how it wants to determine and award it. The blog holds the power when it comes to controlling content, most variables that drive subscriptions, as well as control over generating revenue. Now what if the blog lost a large portion of search traffic from Google because of the PR drop? This in turn reduces traffic, reducing RSS subscriptions, and reducing revenue. Now who holds the power? A blog owner has control over content, marketing, design, revenue generation and more. He or she holds the power for that blog. Google holds the power over PR and where a result ranks for searched keywords. The blogger then has control over how to position the blog so that it is the least dependent on Google or any other single traffic source as possible. In my opinion the blogger ultimately is the one having control of the blog, Google doesn't hold that much power yet...There is nothing wrong with writing for SEO, but remember who you are writing for. Write exclusively for ranking in Google, or any other search engine for that matter, and you give them the power. Write what you want and what people want to read. Write in your own style and with your own personality, and you hold the power over your blog.

Authority. What defines a blog's authority? It certainly isn't Technorati as it is too easily gamed. What makes a blog authoritative? There are many factors that go into authority. Age of the blog is one, quality of content is another, and of course you have traffic and subscription numbers thrown in as well. Another factor is the background of the author. A person who is already well know in certain circles has authority before even putting finger to key. Conversely a person not well known has a much more difficult time as the experience and network aren't already in place. Authority then really comes from a track record of success and actual life experience. For example, a friend of mine Lori of A Cowboy's Wife, wouldn't have much authority if she was single and living in LA or NY with nary a cowboy in sight. She has been successful because she has authority in the area in which her blog is focused.

Influence over others. This is tied closely with authority. The more authority you have or are perceived to have the more influence you will have over others. Influence is also determined by the style and quality of writing. Just as there are more dynamic and influential speakers, there are more dynamic and influential writers and bloggers. You can have authority on your topic yet not be the most influential. You can be influential without having as much authority as the next guy. Stephen Hawking is one of the most recognizable faces of science and physics specifically and in the eyes of many still today has a large amount of authority. Yet it can be argued that he has not had the greatest actual influence on the physics community over the last 35 years. His authority comes from his visibility and his influence is greater in the lay world than in the physics world. His books and speaking engagements and even to a point his struggle through his disability all contribute to his authority.

Bottom line is that an author holds the control over the content of the blog. The authority for the blog and author comes from a track record of success, actual life experience, and visibility. Influence really comes down to the perceptions people have. The better they perceive you the more weight they give to your opinions - authority - and the more they will allow those opinions to shape their own - influence.

How do you define the power of a blog? What do you think defines a blog's authority? How about influence? How closely do you think authority and influence are tied?

$1500 January Update -

In case you missed it I have set a goal for this blog to earn $1500 in January. When I set this goal it was on January 15th and I had earned a total of $606.33 so far for the month. I am determined to meet this goal and I wanted to keep everyone updated as to my progress. With just a little over 1 week left in the month I am getting close.

I will only give totals through yesterday as I am not done earning yet today! The totals will be through the end of the day Wednesday, January 23.

Here is where the earnings stand for the month.

Affiliate Sales: $647.26
Paid Posting: $303.07
Contextual Ads: $48.81
Ad/Link Sales: $10.00
Misc: $6.13

Total MTD: $1015.27

That is an average of a little over $44 per day so far this month. If I maintained that rate I would fall just a bit short of my goal. Counting today the 24th there are 8 days left in the month. I will need to average just a touch over $60 per day to reach my goal. I have lagged a bit on daily income since my last update but hopefully I can make a big push this week and hit my goal.

Quick Tip For Beginning Bloggers & Affiliate Marketers

Who are you? What kind of a person are you? What are you hobbies and interests? What are some things you are passionate about? The reason I am asking is that in my experience the people that do the best and actually stick with and put in the work and time necessary are the ones that blog from their personal experience. I might get in trouble saying this, but it isn't simply put up a site and make big bucks tomorrow. I know there are a lot of people out there selling and hyping some product or system that will make you a dot com blogging millionaire overnight. I'm not knocking them. I've even bought a few of them. Almost all have great ideas, strategies, techniques, and software that can help you in making money blogging and with affiliate marketing.

Bottom line though is that it takes time to write quality content. Just a quick tip, post as much original content as possible and very little pre-written articles. It takes time to build relationships with other bloggers. It takes time to build links both incoming and outgoing. It takes time to build a reputation.

There are soooo many that start this thing up and then quit a few months later. You can make good money online through blogging and affiliate marketing but you have to endure through the crappy times. Sounds very cliche I know but believe me there will be some times you don't feel like blogging in the slightest and want to quit because you aren't seeing a return. Those are the times when having something you love something you are passionate about, something that is more personal helps immensely.

$1500 January Update - MTD: $770.58

In case you missed it I have set a goal for this blog to earn $1500 in January. When I set this goal it was on January 15th and I had earned a total of $606.33 so far for the month. As you can see I had not yet earned half of my goal yet the month was already half over. I am determined to meet this goal and I wanted to keep everyone updated as to my progress.

I will only give totals through yesterday as I am not done earning yet today! The totals will be through the end of the day Thursday. Without further ado...

Here is where the earnings stand for the month.

Affiliate Sales: $491.05
Paid Posting: $232.14
Contextual Ads: $34.61
Ad/Link Sales: $10.00
Misc: $2.78

Total MTD: $770.58

That is an average of a little over $45 per day so far this month. If I maintained that rate I would fall just a bit short of my goal. Although if you look at the earnings for the 16-17th after I set my goal and started my push the average jumps up to about $82 per day. Counting today the 18th there are 14 days left in the month. I will need to average just a touch over $52 per day to reach my goal.

Bad Credit Isn't A Barrier To Making Money Online

You can make money online even if you have horrible credit. PayPerPost doesn't run a credit check. Google doesn't run a credit check. Commission Junction doesn't run a credit check. Bad credit can cost you more in interest and make things inconvenient, it can't stop you from making money online. You can start a free blog and begin to monetize it almost immediately. After you begin to build traffic and content and the blog matures you can move into paid posting and ad sales to make even more money. You can use affiliate programs and PPC advertising or just place the links on you sight as way to further increase your income. You can do all this and your credit doesn't matter.

There was a period in my life where I had less than perfect credit. I know for me it really really sucked. I have been able to improve it over time, but during that time it was very difficult at times to do things many people take for granted. Things like buying a car, getting a cell phone, heck even employers are checking credit nowadays. Because of my past struggles I actually have another blog devoted to helping people with bad credit in their daily lives. The blog is Daily Living With Bad Credit. I have information on there about how to purchase computers and other electronics with no interest even for people with bad credit. How to obtain decent financing on auto loans. Even a place where you can buy jewelry.

With the number of "bad credit" consumers in the U.S. growing by the day, there are great resources to help these consumers get back on their feet financially. Another site, other than mine, that I reference quite often is BadCreditOffers.com. The feature bad credit loans, credit cards, and other resources for people with bad credit. They even have an area for personal loans for people with bad credit. The site allows visitors to compare dozens of bad credit offers from major providers and find the best offer to fit their needs.

My Push For A $1500 January

Well today is January 15th the month is half over already. I don't know about you but for me it has went pretty quick. In my 2007 Year End post I mentioned that I had met and exceeded the earnings goals for this blog. My goal was to earn $1000 from this blog alone and $1500 total from all of my blogs. My biggest earnings for this blog are affiliate sales, paid posting, contextual advertising, and ad space sales, basically in that order. My other blogs vary between affiliate sales and paid posting. I was very happy that I met and surpassed those goals, and now it is time for some new ones.

My goal for this blog is to earn $1500 in January. I think this is a very realistic and attainable number. Now the month is already half over and I'm not yet half way to my goal so heading into the home stretch I will be making a big push. I'll be blunt, If you didn't really like me before you probably won't like me now. There will most likely be a bit more paid posting, yep maybe a few off topic, and probably quite a few more posts about my favorite affiliate programs. I do promise that I will also be posting regular content and more of it as well. I had the mosts posts ever for this blog in December and there will likely be quite a few more this month. If you don't like the currents posts just wait there will be more ;) . Please join in with me my quest for $1500 and have just a bit of paitence and understanding. A big preemptive Thanks to all of you my readers.

Here is where the earnings stand for the month.

Affiliate Sales: $424.97
Paid Posting: $142.00
Contextual Ads: $27.36
Ad/Link Sales: $10.00
Misc: $2.00

Total MTD: $606.33

I will be posting updates on the progress towards my goal every couple days until the end of the month. I hope you all will read and enjoy the journey with me.

I Finally Have PR Again

Back in the last PR update I was initially given a PR of 4. That quickly fell to a 3 then a 2 and then during the paid link crap down to a big fat 0. What I think is funny is that my traffic didn't drop, my incoming links didn't drop, yet simply because I had a few paid text links and posts google decided my content was no longer worthy. It didn't bother me too much as yahoo traffic more than filled the small gap left by a drop in google search traffic. It still would have been nice to at least have had some rank though.

Well finally after about 3 months google decided I was once again worthy of PR! I have more content than ever, more incoming links, higher traffic, pretty much all my numbers are up from when I was awarded the PR4. So what do you think google in all of its monopolistic generosity bestowed upon this humble little blog? A very impressive PR1. I'm not complaining, mind you, simply commentating on the latest developements here at PPB. Before I go here is one more big one to google.

Oh and remember if you want to be in google's good PR graces don't include words like PayPerPost, sponsored links, paid links, TextLinkAds, text link ads, paid posting, PayPerPost, paid links, paid ads, paid text links, PayPerPost, TLA, paid text ads, PayPerPost or any other phrases like PayPerPost, paid posting, paid links, paid text link ads, sponsored text link ads, site sponsors and the like. Also as an added benefit to all of your readers and fellow bloggers make sure you follow google's example and nofollow all outgoing links. Oh wait that only applies to bloggers.....

2007 Blog In Review

Well another year is in the can and new one is already flying by. Can you believe it is January 2nd already. It seems like the year just started yesterday. I just wanted give you all a year ending review of this blog.

Most Popular Articles

The 12 Links Of Christmas
These articles were pretty much just full of links but the title, and the links, obviously caught people's attention. These were a great year end traffic building and link building series. Day 1 was actually my biggest article of the year with over 1000 visits in just a few short days.

What The F Does The C Stand 4
My first and most successful contest.

The Stripping Aristologist
My second contest and I think the reference to stripping and a big word most people probably didn't know helped this one along.

Boca Java, Rush Limbaugh, And Affiliate Marketing
This is still the article that gets the most search traffic. It is also one of my highest converting affiliate offers for the site.

Hits4Pay Program Review
This has been a great Pay-to-read program for me. This article gets high search traffic and I get good conversions on people signing up. It has been a very successful non-traditional affiliate program as I get paid from them every month.

Feed Failure In 5 Easy Steps

I wrote a bunch of facetious articles around this time.

Your So Vain - Top 10 Reasons John Chow Probably Thinks This Blog Is About Him
My most popular early article. It still brings in some good search numbers.

Profitable Productive Blogging Traffic Numbers

Here is a screenshot of my visitor for the last 30 days. The chart is from Feedburner with Google Analytics overlayed on top. You can see that toward the end of the month there is a divergence between the two. That is the time when I installed the "New" google analytics code. I am thinking of switching back as it doesn't seem to be reporting accurately.

As with all sites my traffic fluctuates quite a bit but has really picked up in November and December. For those two months I am averaging roughly 6500 visits with about 10000 pageviews. For the year from March when I started I have had, according to google, 38,157 visits with 56,336 pageviews. You can see that quite a bit of both is from the last 2 months.

Profitable Productive Blogging Revenue

I don't do really like the practice of reporting revenue numbers though I might change my mind at some point. I do set goals for myself though. I am happy to report that this blog met and surpassed my income goals I had set. My biggest earners for the site were affiliate links, paid posting, ad sales, and contextual ads in that order. Contextual ads has been coming on strong though with the addition of Kontera toward the end of the year. Also I started with NeverBlueAds at the end of the year as well. They offer better payouts, and great customer service, on some of the campaigns I was running through Commission Junction.

The 12 Links Of Christmas - Christmas Day Spectacular!!

Well Merry Christmas To You All!!!!

I just wanted to give a bit more link love for Christmas and decided today to repost all 12 days of The 12 Links Of Christmas. God bless you all, your families, and your friends on this day. Thank you to all of my readers for making this blog what it is.

The 12 Links Of Christmas

Cman of Profitable Productive Blogging is giving the gift of links this Christmas and decided to make it fun and share the spirit of giving with others. Here is what to do:
  1. Each day from today Friday, December 14 until Tuesday, December 25, link to 12 blogs.
  2. Each day will be twelve different blogs for a total of 144 different links.
  3. What I would hope people would do is to pass along the gift links in the spirit of Christmas giving.
  4. If someone links to you during the 12 Links Of Christmas then do your best to return the favor back to them along with 11 other blogs.
  5. It doesn't matter when you get linked to just start the 12 Links Of Christmas whenever and continue until Christmas. If you don't want to do a post each day just do one 12 Links Of Christmas post linking back to the blog that linked to you and 11 others and be done.
  6. The point is to give and share some linkage this Christmas Season.
Feel free to copy and past the above list for your own post if you would like.
